netis Releases New Firmware for Wi-Fi Routers

On September 3rd, 2013, netis is proud to release new firmware for netis Wi-Fi routers.
Based on user feedback, broader market research and a powerful R&D team, netis achieves large
improvements in the new firmware compared with the old one.
◎ Brand new user interface.

The netis firmware management page now is changing from the original one blue color to a kind of combination with vivid grass green and baby blue. And all the setting options of the page are adjusted to be more reasonable and easy-to-find during the configuration.
◎ Multiple languages. 

Besides English, now the netis firmware supports Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Dutch, 
 Polish, Czech, Russian, Turkish and Traditional Chinese, which can widely meet global users’requirements.

◎ Quick Setup page.

Once logging into the firmware management page, users can immediately get the Quick Setup page to configure
the Internet connection type, wireless name and password. The installation progress is easy and convenient which

will take no more than one minute.

◎ More WAN connection types.

The netis new firmware can support as
many as 10 different WAN access types
by WISP, DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE, Unifi
PPoE, Russia PPPoE, L2TP, PPTP,
Russia PPTP and Russia L2TP*.
◎ Powerful wireless function.

The netis firmware keeps supporting
multi-wirelessmodes including AP,
Repeater, AP+WDS, WDS and Client.
The installation steps are much easier
by only 3 steps and without switching
pages.

◎ Advanced functions. 

The netis new firmware supports the following functions to meet users advanced applications:

      • Bandwidth Control,
      • Port Forwarding (Virtual Server, DMZ, UPnP, Port Triggering, 
         FTP Private Port),
      • Access Control (IP/MAC/Domain Filtering, based on time),
      •  Dynamic DNS (DynDNS, No-IP),
      •  VPN-Pass-through (PPTP, L2TP, IPSec),
      • IGMP Proxy, WOL, Static Routing, WAN Port Setting.
